Hey!

You wanted me to write you a critique for this one. As I tell everyone I write a critique for; don't mind the ratings, they don't teach you anything.

Photographically:
I can see that you very much wanted to capture the sunny beach here.
First off, when you have a horizon, try you best to keep it straight. It's just more natural to look at it like it should be.
I can see that it's automatic settings used here. I don't mind those as long as they work. However I would make sure that I never point a camera towards the sun, this will break your autofocus-sensor. Why am I saying this? It's tempting to take a photo of the sun when it's beautiful and your focus seems off at the capture.
When looking at a scene like this, try to capture the whole beach, I'm guessing it's just doing a curl into the top left or that mountain the background is an island, in that case you're excused <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>

I won't write you a post-processing critique, because you'll benefit more from focusing on what's important here.
I'd recommend you to read the instruction manual of your camera, it's important as you want to know what your camera can and cannot do and how it reacts to different settings.
Finally I recommend you to have a look at this video about capturing a scene [link]

I hope this was helpful <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>
